Caesars Sportsbook Opens New Betting Location at Long Shot’s in Frederick

Frederick, Maryland – Caesars Entertainment has launched its third retail sportsbook in Maryland, a 4,900-square-foot facility at Long Shot’s in Frederick. This new location offers sports fans a comprehensive betting experience, complete with self-service kiosks, expanded wagering options, and dedicated viewing areas.

The sportsbook includes eight self-service kiosks for streamlined betting, a spacious lounge, and a bar designed to cater to both individual guests and larger groups. Pari-mutuel wagering is also available, enhancing the venue’s offerings for in-person betting enthusiasts.

Dan Shapiro, Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Caesars Digital, expressed excitement about the partnership with Long Shot’s, highlighting the venue’s role as a women-owned business in the thriving Frederick community. “We’re proud to partner with Long Shot’s…to bring in-person sports betting back to the sports fans in the area,” Shapiro said.

The new Caesars Sportsbook operates from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends, providing flexible hours for patrons.

This launch follows Caesars’ renewed multi-year partnership with the NHL in March 2024, enabling branded content integration across its gaming platforms throughout North America. The company continues to emphasise responsible gaming practices, enforcing a strict 21+ policy for all sports betting, iGaming, and pari-mutuel wagering activities.
