Norsk Tipping Allocates Record NOK 930 Million to Norwegian Sports

In an encouraging boost for sports development, Norsk Tipping has distributed a record NOK 930 million to sports organisations across Norway.

The majority of this funding will support the Norwegian Sports Federation and the Olympic and Paralympic Committee (NIF). This year’s allocation marks an increase of NOK 60 million compared to last year, reflecting growing support for sports inclusion initiatives.

The funding will enable NIF to continue its efforts in promoting inclusive sports activities, particularly for children, youth, and individuals with disabilities.

Additionally, NOK 11 million has been designated for Tverga, a resource centre that focuses on promoting self-organised sports activities across Norway.

The significant increase in funding highlights Norsk Tipping’s commitment to strengthening sports opportunities and accessibility nationwide.
